Web service description

The Stock Quote is a public Document/Literal Web service that retrieves the latest stock quote for a stock ticker that is available at least 20 minutes before the request.

To get multiple quotes, you can enter ticker symbols separated by:

A comma (,). For example:

MSFT,YHOO,GE,PRGS

Or a space. For example:

MSFT YHOO GE PRGS

For a given ticker symbol, the Web service returns the following information:

Company name
Ticker
Stock quote
Price change
Open price
Day range (high/low)
Volume
Market cap
Year range
